Wix blog integration guide

This guide walks you through connecting your Wix site to RankAI so we can publish and manage your SEO blog content. You’ll need access to your Wix account API Key Manager and your RankAI dashboard.

Where to start in RankAI

In your RankAI project, open Settings in the sidebar. Under Site Integration, find Connected CMS and click Configure.

On the next screen, you’ll see All Integrations. Click the Wix.com card to continue.

Step 1: Open API Key Manager

Go to your Wix account’s API Key Manager. You can open it at manage.wix.com/account/api-keys or from your Wix account: Account Settings → API Keys. Click Generate API Key to create a new key for RankAI.

Step 2: Configure API Key Permissions

On the Generate API Key screen, give the key a name (e.g. “Rankai Blog Publish”). Under All site permissions, open the list and select Wix Blog so RankAI can manage your site’s blog data (posts and categories). Then click Generate Key.

2.1 Name the key and open site permissions

Enter a name in the Name field (e.g. “Rankai Blog Publish”). Under Permissions, find All site permissions and click See all to expand the list.

2.2 Select Wix Blog and generate the key

In the site permissions list, check Wix Blog (manage your sites’ blog data, including posts and categories). Click Generate Key. Copy the API key and store it somewhere safe—you’ll paste it into RankAI in Step 3.

Step 3: Connect API Key

Back in your RankAI project, open the Wix integration screen. Enter your Wix API key in the field and complete the connection. RankAI will verify the key and connect to your Wix account.

Paste the API key you generated in Step 2.2, then click Connect. After connecting, you’ll see the Select Wix Site screen—complete Step 4 to finish setup.

Step 4: Select Wix site and save

On the Select Wix Site screen, choose which Wix site RankAI will publish to and the author that will appear on your posts. Then save and confirm the status.

4.1 Choose site and author

Use the Site dropdown to select the Wix site you want to publish to. In Author, select the author that should be credited on published posts (e.g. “Rankai Admin”).

4.2 Save and confirm

Click the Save button to store your choices. When saving succeeds, the status in the top right changes from Unsaved to Saved (with a green indicator). Only when you see Saved have you completed all steps and finished the Wix integration setup.

You can change the site or author later from the same screen, or use Change Integration to switch to a different CMS. Once you see Saved, your Wix integration is ready and RankAI can publish to your selected site.
